Item Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Item Supervisor to oversee the efficient flow and management of our inventory. The successful candidate will be a key leader in maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring product presentation, and managing the team responsible for these tasks.

Key Resposibilities:

Inventory Management & Stock Dealing:

• Oversee all aspects of inventory control, including receiving, storing, issuing, and transferring items.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories to ensure accuracy between physical stock and system records.
• Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies, documenting and resolving variances promptly.

Team Leadership & Arrangement:.

• Delegate daily tasks, manage staff schedules, and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure the efficient and organized arrangement of stock within the warehouse or storage area for maximum accessibility and safety.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the stockroom.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on inventory levels, stock movement, slow-moving items, and shrinkage.
• Utilize inventory management software (WMS/ERP) proficiently.
• Provide clear and concise updates to management regarding inventory health and operational bottlenecks.

Operational Excellence:

• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for stock handling and storage.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to meet business demands.

Qualifications:

Experience: Freshers/6 month

Education: High school diploma
