Senior Backend Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to play a pivotal role in building and scaling advanced access security solutions. This position involves designing and maintaining robust APIs, microservices, and distributed systems that protect critical enterprise resources. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features while ensuring security, scalability, and reliability. You will take ownership of product features from ideation through deployment and mentor others while driving best practices in backend engineering. Accountabilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices for access security solutions.

· Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and security teams to implement robust, high-performance features.

· Contribute to distributed systems architecture, including debugging, monitoring, and optimization.

· Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of cloud-based infrastructure and IAM services.

· Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship, and drive best practices for backend development.

· Own product features end-to-end, from ideation to deployment and maintenance.

· Continuously improve system scalability, resilience, and observability.

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

· years of experience in backend software development, focusing on APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.

· Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Golang or Java.

· Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

· Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and IAM services.

· Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

· Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, caching mechanisms, and scalable system design.

· Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

· Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
