Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including endoscopic procedures (gastroscopy, colonoscopy).

• Provide outpatient and inpatient consultations for gastrointestinal and liver-related conditions.

• Lead and participate in screening programs for colorectal cancer and other preventive healthcare initiatives.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, internists, and radiologists.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior medical staff, nurses, and allied health professionals.

• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with local regulatory healthcare standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Requirements:

• Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Gastroenterology.

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology (e.g., ABIM, FRCP, MRCP, or equivalent).

• Valid and unrestricted medical license in the country of current practice.

• Eligibility to obtain a medical license in the Caribbean (support provided).

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.

• Experience in ERCP or EUS procedures (preferred but not mandatory).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to working in a multicultural environment.
