**Job Title:** Sports Physiotherapist

**Location:** Sports Injury and Performance Centre

**Role Overview:**

As a Sports Physiotherapist at our Sports Injury and Performance Centre, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation and performance enhancement of athletes. You will work closely with athletes of all levels to prevent, assess, and treat sports-related injuries, while also focusing on optimizing their physical performance and overall well-being.

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

  1. **Assessment and Diagnosis:**

  2. Conduct thorough assessments of athletes to diagnose injuries and identify areas for improvement in performance.

  3. Utilize various assessment tools, including movement analysis, strength testing, and range of motion assessment, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

  4. **Treatment Planning and Rehabilitation:**

  5. Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each athlete's specific needs and goals.

  6. Administer evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, and hydrotherapy to aid in rehabilitation.

  7. Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery and performance enhancement.

  8. **Injury Prevention and Education:**

  9. Design and implement injury prevention programs, including warm-up routines, stretching exercises, and sport-specific conditioning drills.

  10. Educate athletes on proper body mechanics, injury prevention strategies, and recovery techniques to minimize the risk of injury during training and competition.

  11. **Performance Enhancement:**

  12. Collaborate with coaches, trainers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize athletes' physical performance and functional abilities.

  13. Develop strength and conditioning programs that target specific areas for improvement and enhance athletic performance.

  14. **Documentation and Communication:**

  15. Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatments, and progress notes for each athlete.

  16. Communicate effectively with athletes, coaches, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care and progress towards goals.

  17. **Research and Professional Development:**

  18. Stay abreast of current research, trends, and best practices in sports physiotherapy and related fields.

  19. Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.

  • Current license or registration to practice as a physiotherapist.

  • Specialization or certification in sports physiotherapy preferred.

  • Experience working with athletes in a sports medicine or performance setting.

  • Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise physiology.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher, Internship

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
