Roles & Responsibilities
  • Work closely with development team to perform database changes as requested.
  • Develop database procedures, functions, triggers and SQL scripts.
  • Design & implement data models and database designs into physical databases and maintain database schemas.
  • Manage security of database structures and corporate data held within databases.
  • Resolve database performance issues, database capacity issues and other distributed data issues.
  • Review database queries for optimization.
  • Create and manage user rights and permissions.
  • Develop, implement and maintain unit testing of database changes.
  • Perform backup and recovery of databases.
Good to Have Skills
  • Working and implementation knowledge of SSIS AND SSRS.
  • Experience working with Oracle/MySQL.
  • Exposure to Microsoft BI solutions.
  • Knowledge of AWS and AZURE cloud databases.
Required Candidate Profile
  • Should be familiar with SQL Server 2014/2016/2017 T-SQL features.
  • Must have good exposure in writing T-SQL queries.
  • Experience with database development like procedures, functions and triggers as well as be able to create tables with constraints and indexes.
  • Must be strong in writing complex database queries.
  • Good knowledge of performance tuning techniques as well as monitoring tools.
  • Should have good troubleshooting skills.
  • Solid analytical, development and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Should be willing to work with client directly and should be able to work in Production Support environment as and when required.
