Role & responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, secure, and high performance web applications using PHP and the Laminas framework.
  • Build and maintain front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Develop and integrate backend services using , ensuring seamless communication between systems.
  • Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and optimizing application performance.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly designs.
  • Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of at least  6+ years working as a PHP Developer.
  • Expert-level knowledge in PHP with strong experience building high performance and secure applications.
  • Deep expertise with Laminas and familiarity with MVC architecture and service-oriented design.

  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript standards.
  • Experience integrating databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLite) and writing efficient queries.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind (optional but a plus).
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of unit tests to ensure code quality, stability, and reliability.
  • Experience with version control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.

  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing and deployment pipelines.

  • Knowledge of Java and/or C# / .NET.
  • Familiarity with UX design principles and best practices.
