Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk with a basic understanding of accounting principles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering financial and accounting data, maintaining records, and assisting the finance team in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:


• Accurately enter financial data such as invoices, receipts, purchase orders, and payment vouchers into accounting software.


• Maintain and update accounting databases and spreadsheets on a daily basis.


• Verify and reconcile data entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.


• Assist in tracking accounts payable and receivable transactions.


• Support the preparation of reports, statements, and financial summaries as required.


• Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records.


• Coordinate with internal departments to collect and verify accounting information.


• Ensure confidentiality and security of financial data.


• Assist the accounts team in other administrative or clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:


• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, diploma or coursework in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.


• Soft Skills:

Attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
