Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Librarian to manage daily library operations, support patrons in accessing resources, and maintain an organized, welcoming learning environment. The ideal candidate will have strong research skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for books, learning, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patrons in locating books, digital resources, and reference materials
  • Organize, catalog, and maintain library collections using library management systems
  • Manage check-in/check-out processes and maintain accurate circulation records
  • Plan and conduct educational programs, workshops, or community events
  • Provide research assistance and recommend reading materials
  • Maintain a quiet, safe, and inclusive library environment
  • Oversee digital resources, databases, and online catalog systems
  • Support inventory management, shelving, and book repair
  • Enforce library policies and ensure proper use of facilities
  • Assist in budget planning, purchasing, and vendor coordination (if applicable)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11, ₹35,656.00 per month
