Job Title: Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance to support our finance operations, ensure accurate accounting, and assist in financial planning and reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, sound knowledge of accounting principles, and experience managing day-to-day financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance Operations

  • Handle day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure timely closing of books of accounts.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and fund management.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and coordinate documents for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain accurate financial records as per regulatory standards.

Team & Process Management

  • Support the finance manager in supervising team activities.
  • Implement process improvements for better accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for financial data and approvals.

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Handle vendor payments, reconciliations, and queries.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, and other financial partners.
  • Assist in managing payroll, reimbursements, and employee claims (if applicable).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Accounts/Finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Tally/ERP, MS Excel, and financial software.
