We are currently looking for a dynamic and passionate Maths teacher to join our team and teach primary grades, helping to shape the future of our young learners.

As a Primary Grades Maths Teacher at PNC Cognitio School, you will be responsible for:

  • Teaching Mathematics to primary grade students following the IGCSE curriculum.
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote student understanding and development.
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to encourage growth.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel motivated and supported.
  • Collaborating with other teachers, staff, and parents to ensure the best possible learning experience for students.
  • Keeping up to date with educational best practices and the IGCSE curriculum requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare math lessons that align with the IGCSE curriculum for primary grades.
  • Implement interactive and hands-on activities to enhance students' understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing individual support where necessary.
  • Maintain a positive, supportive, and disciplined classroom environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practices.
  • Attend school meetings and communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification preferred).
  • Previous experience teaching Primary Grades within the IGCSE curriculum (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of the IGCSE Maths curriculum and teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about teaching and working with young learners.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators.
