Job Description: SAP Security and GRC Consultant

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Security and GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and support of SAP application security, focusing on SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP BI/BOBJ, IBP, and SAP GRC Access Controls. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and functional skills in SAP security, be well-versed in compliance standards (such as SOX), and have extensive experience supporting security operations and audits across diverse SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and support of SAP application security for SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP BI/BOBJ, IBP, and GRC Access Controls.
  • Perform all SAP Security-related tasks, including role design, testing, auditing, generation of security roles and profiles, user account management, and security troubleshooting.
  • Implement best practices for SAP security change management controls to support SOX compliance standards, manage change requests, test and transport SAP security roles to the production environment.
  • Configure and implement SAP GRC Access Controls (10.1/12.0) modules, including ARA, ARM, ERM, and BRM tools, both technically and functionally.
  • Support end-to-end SAP GRC project cycles, including Go-Live and Cutover activities.
  • Utilize SAP Service Marketplace for activities such as opening OSS connections, searching KBAs, and applying SAP Notes (SNOTEs) for corrections and security enhancements.
  • Customize Rule Sets; configure mitigation controllers, approvers, and monitors in ARA.
  • Manage audit processes, including UAR and SOD reviews with GRC.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with onshore/offshore teams, ensuring overall client delivery and project success.
  • Adhere to SLA deliverables and deadlines, demonstrating high motivation and self-management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in SAP application security, including SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, SAP Fiori, BI/BOBJ, and IBP.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP GRC Access Controls modules (ARA, ARM, ERM, BRM).
  • Hands-on experience with Service Marketplace, OSS connection management, and SAP note implementations.
  • Experience supporting SOX compliance and internal/external security audits.
  • Demonstrated capability in role design, user management, troubleshooting, and change management.
  • Experience handling GRC UAR (User Access Review) and SOD (Segregation of Duties) processes and audits.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and client management skills.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines independently.

Preferred:

  • SAP Security or GRC certification(s)
  • Experience with global clients and supporting large-scale SAP implementations
