Role Overview

We are looking for a committed and visionary Vice Principal to support the Principal in providing academic and administrative leadership. The Vice Principal will oversee curriculum delivery, faculty management, student discipline, and academic planning, while ensuring the school's culture of excellence and holistic education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Principal in day-to-day school leadership, strategy, and decision-making.
  • Supervise teaching staff: mentoring, training, performance reviews, and lesson planning oversight.
  • Lead curriculum implementation as per CISCE (ICSE/ISC) requirements.
  • Coordinate academic programs, examinations, and results analysis.
  • Monitor student discipline, attendance, and well-being in collaboration with teachers and hostel wardens.
  • Build strong parent engagement and communication systems.
  • Support teacher recruitment, orientation, and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with CISCE norms, inspections, and quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with the Administrator on operations, budgeting, and school events.
  • Step in as Acting Principal during absences.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Education/Science/Arts/Management (B.Ed mandatory).
  • Minimum 8–10 years of teaching experience with at least 3–5 years in leadership/coordination (Vice Principal, Head of Department, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of ICSE/ISC curriculum and academic management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written); basic Kannada or Telugu preferred for local coordination.
  • Experience in faculty training, school inspections, and academic audits.
  • Exposure to residential school systems is a strong plus.
