Role & responsibilities

Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Responsibilities:

  • Direct Patient Care:RMOs are responsible for examining patients, diagnosing illnesses, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing ongoing patient care.
  • Emergency Response:RMOs respond to medical emergencies, providing immediate care and coordinating with other healthcare professionals.

  • Supervision:They work under the supervision of senior medical staff, including consultants and attending physicians.

  • Collaboration:They work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, pharmacists, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

  • Patient Education:RMOs may also be involved in educating patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.

Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:CMOs develop and implement clinical strategies and policies to improve patient care and organizational performance.
  • Quality Improvement:They lead initiatives to improve the quality and safety of healthcare services, including developing and implementing quality improvement plans.
  • Policy Development:CMOs develop and review patient care policies, practice protocols, and organizational policies.

  • Staff Management:They oversee the training, and supervision of medical staff, ensuring compliance with best practices.

  • External Relationships:They establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as other hospitals and regulatory bodies.

  • Emergency Management:In some cases, CMOs may also be involved in overseeing emergency management and response.

Preferred candidate

Candidates having good experience in ICU and Operation Theatre are preferred
