Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SOC Analyst with strong expertise in advanced collaboration platform log analysis (like endpoint, DLP, insider risk, etc.).

This role focuses on designing, validating, and analyzing security & compliance logs to support investigative analysis, reporting, experiments, and advanced monitoring use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze logs to produce actionable insights, investigative workflows, correlative analysis & SOC reporting.

Write Python/PowerShell scripts for log parsing, validation & automation.

Collaborate with data engineers to ensure logs are scalable, realistic & correlated across systems.

Build reports & dashboards that deliver investigative insights for SOC teams.

Mandatory Requirements:

5+ years as a SOC Analyst with hands-on log analysis & generating advanced investigative insights.

Strong skills in SIEM tools (Sentinel / Splunk).

Proficiency in Python & PowerShell.

Proven experience producing detailed investigative insights to support incident detection, threat hunting, response & management.

Experience with Microsoft Purview or related security tools (DLP policies, Insider Risk Management workflows, compliance reporting).

Good-to-Have Skills:

Exposure to security dataset simulation.

Compliance reporting experience building reports/dashboards for audits, governance & regulatory use cases.

Exposure to data simulation or security testing.

Risk assessment experience – identifying, prioritizing & reporting on potential insider, data loss, or compliance risks.
