Description :


- Senior Azure Data engineer

- Databricks, Azure, SQL, Python, PySpark.

- Operations and Application Support background

Key Responsibilities :

- Designing and Implementing Data Solutions: Architecting and building end-to-end data solutions on Azure, leveraging Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and other Azure services.

- Data Pipeline Development: Developing and maintaining data pipelines using Databricks, ensuring seamless data integration and processing.

- Performance Optimization: Optimizing Spark jobs for performance and cost-efficiency within Databricks clusters.

- Security and Governance: Implementing and maintaining security controls, ensuring compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements.

- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with stakeholders, including data analysts, scientists, and business users, to understand requirements and provide technical support.

- Mentorship and Leadership :Providing technical leadership and mentorship to team members in multiple pods.

- Data Engineering Expertise: Proficiency in data modelling, data warehousing, data integration, and ETL/ELT processes.

- Cloud Computing Knowledge: Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, including infrastructure as code, serverless computing, and containerization.

- DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps principles, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.

- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse complex problems, develop creative solutions, and troubleshoot issues.

- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse team
