AI, automation, and expert tax workflows
to simplify US tax preparation and compliance. We help accounting firms and independent CPAs save time, reduce errors, and focus on what matters most:
client advisory and growth
.
Our Vision
To become the AI-Coworker that every accountant trusts.
What You Will Do
We're looking for a
licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
to
lead AiA's US Tax Practice
and collaborate with our
product and engineering teams
. You'll manage client operations, define scalable processes, and provide continuous feedback to help shape our tax technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Client Operations
- Lead and manage US tax preparation and filing for individuals and SMBs (1040, 1065, 1120S, etc.).
- Build and oversee SOPs, review workflows, and quality-check systems for tax accuracy and compliance.
- Handle client onboarding, documentation, and compliance processes end-to-end.
Leadership & Scaling
- Establish and scale AiA's US Taxation Division — including team structure, training, and process documentation.
- Hire, mentor, and guide a team of tax preparers and associates.
- Plan for seasonal workload spikes and build systems for client retention and service excellence.
Product Collaboration
- Partner with product managers and engineers to translate CPA workflows into intuitive digital experiences.
- Share insights from real-world client work to refine automation logic, test prototypes, and enhance user flows.
- Contribute to development of features like form mapping (1040, K-1, W-2), data parsing, and compliance checks.
- Identify automation and process-optimization opportunities to make tax prep faster and smarter.
Strategic Input
- Advise leadership on IRS compliance frameworks, e-file partnerships, and regulatory considerations.
- Represent the voice of the customer within the product team — ensuring every enhancement solves a real CPA pain point.
Requirements
- Active CPA license (mandatory).
- 5–10 years of experience in US tax preparation and advisory for individuals and small businesses.
- Proven experience managing 1040, 1065, and 1120S returns.
- Hands-on experience with tax software such as Drake, Lacerte, UltraTax, or ProConnect.
- Track record of leading teams or managing 80+ returns per year.
- Excellent understanding of US tax laws, compliance, and client communication.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for efficiency and innovation.
- Bonus: Experience with fintech, automation tools, or AI-driven tax tech platforms.

- Engagement Initiatives: Hackathons, open demos, and fun game nights.
- Flexible Work-from-Home: Up to 12 WFH days every 6 months.
