Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a DD Underwriter (US Mortgage) located in Mumbai. The DD Underwriter will be responsible for evaluating and analyzing mortgage applications, assessing financial documentation, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines. Responsibilities include conducting detailed due diligence, adhering to strict timelines, assessing potential risks, and making informed decisions on mortgage loans.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Mortgage Underwriting, Mortgages, and the Mortgage Industry
  • Strong Analytical Skills for detailed evaluations and risk assessment
  • Experience in Underwriting processes and proficiency in reviewing complex documentation
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and compliance in the mortgage industry
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
  • Critical thinking and decision-making abilities
  • Proven experience in the US Mortgage domain is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
