Position: Plumbing & Firefighting Engineer
Experience: 4+ years in Plumbing & Fire Protection system design (commercial, residential, healthcare, retail projects)
Qualification: BE/BTech/ME/MTech (Mechanical/Civil Engineering)
Axium Global is established as one of the leading pre-construction planning services companies in the UK and India, serving the building services (MEP), retail, homebuilder, architectural and construction sectors with high-quality MEP engineering design and BIM solutions. The engineer will be responsible for multiple projects from concept through completion, including planning, budgeting and coordinating with other disciplines, working directly with leading architectural design consulting firms from the UK, USA, Australia and the UAE on flagship projects.
Key Skills:
- Design of plumbing & fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, pumps, tanks)
- Hydraulic calculations and system sizing
- Design of water supply, sewerage, storm water & drainage systems
- STP/ETP plant sizing and water tank location planning
- Preparation of BOQ, specifications, drawings & reports
- Knowledge of local codes, international standards & safety regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and industry-leading design software
- Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, structural, electrical)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently on layouts, mark-ups & calculations
