1. Machine Setup & Operation:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines (lathe, milling, grinding, etc.) according to job specifications.
  • Load raw materials and secure them properly in the machine.
  • Adjust machine settings, cutting tools, and workpiece positions for optimal performance.
  • Monitor machining operations to ensure quality and precision.

2. Programming & Troubleshooting:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files.
  • Input or modify G-code and M-code in CNC programs when necessary.
  • Troubleshoot machine errors and make necessary adjustments to prevent defects.
  • Perform test runs and first-piece inspections before full production.

3. Quality Control & Inspection:

  • Use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges to check part dimensions.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet design specifications.
  • Identify and report defective products, tool wear, and machine malfunctions.
