Billing Engineer

• Quantity Take-off and BOQ: Analyze drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to extract quantities for work items.
• Billing & Invoicing: Prepare and process Running Account (RA) bills for clients and subcontractors, ensuring all billing milestones are met.
• Work Measurement & Verification: Conduct site visits to measure work in progress, cross-check against site measurements, and verify quantities with site engineers and project managers.
• Rate Analysis: Assist in analyzing and applying item rates for materials, labor, and overheads, ensuring compliance with standards like the DSR (Delhi Schedule of Rates).
• Extra Item Identification: Identify and prepare billing for extra items that are not part of the original contract.
• Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of all billing-related activities, measurements, and documentation for audits and reports.
• Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments such as procurement, accounting, and finance, as well as with project managers and contractors.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Promptly address and resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes with clients.
• Contract Management: Interpret tender documents, ensure compliance with contract clauses, and manage contract billing and claims.
• Reporting: Generate MIS reports and assist in preparing financial reports related to billing.
