Microsoft Cloud Solutions Architect – Microsoft E5 Security Stack

Contract Position | Immediate Availability Required

We're seeking an accomplished security professional with specialized knowledge in Microsoft's E5 Security portfolio to support enterprise clients in strengthening their cybersecurity capabilities. This consulting-focused position involves working closely with organizations across various sectors to architect, implement, and optimize Microsoft security technologies that address critical threats spanning identity, endpoints, email systems, and cloud platforms.

You'll serve as a technical advisor and implementation specialist, helping clients modernize their security operations through strategic deployment of Microsoft's integrated threat protection suite. Your work will directly influence how organizations detect threats, respond to incidents, and mature their overall security posture.

What You'll Do

Partner with enterprise security teams to evaluate their environment, design appropriate solutions, and guide successful adoption of Microsoft E5 security capabilities. You'll lead technical workshops and demonstration sessions that illustrate the power of unified security operations.

Configure and operationalize security technologies including Entra ID Protection for identity risk management, Defender XDR for centralized threat correlation, Defender for Office 365 for email threat prevention, and Defender for Endpoint for comprehensive endpoint security. Your scope extends to cloud app security through Defender for Cloud Apps, hybrid infrastructure protection via Defender for Cloud, on-premises identity defense with Defender for Identity, and AI-enhanced security operations using Security Copilot.

Optimize detection rules, incident workflows, and automated response mechanisms to improve security efficiency. Build operational runbooks and transfer knowledge to client teams, ensuring they can sustain and evolve their security operations independently. Deliver technical documentation and architecture blueprints that support long-term security strategy.
