Data Entry Operator

We are (Software Development Company - IT) seeking a skilled, Good attitude and experienced Data Entry Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day data entry with quality

Qualification: Any UG / PG / Dip. / Engineering Graduates

Gender: Male / Female candidates

Job Location: Coimbatore, Tiruppur

Job Type: Full Time | Day Shift | Permanent Job

Working Time: 9:00am to 6:00pm

Job Summary:

The Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in digital formats and databases. The role requires attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in handling information, ensuring all records are complete and error-free for company and project operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and verify data in company systems, spreadsheets, or databases.
  • Maintain accuracy and completeness of records in various formats (Excel, Word, XML, or internal systems).
  • Review documents, forms, and files for errors or missing data before submission.
  • Perform data cleaning, formatting, and validation according to company standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and data sources.
  • Generate reports, summaries, and data lists as required by management.
  • Coordinate with team leads or project heads to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Perform quality checks on completed data entries for consistency and compliance.

Required Skills

  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy (minimum 30–40 WPM).
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Google Sheets.
  • Basic understanding of database systems or XML tagging is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in data entry, documentation, or publishing projects.
  • Knowledge of document formats such as PDF, DOCX, XLSX, and XML.
  • Familiarity with academic or publishing workflows (for technical data entry roles).
