Role Description

HVAC Design

Perform detailed cooling/heating load calculations using industry standards (ASHRAE/ISHAE/IS).

Prepare HVAC system designs, equipment sizing, ducting layouts, and technical BOQs.

Evaluate existing systems and propose design improvements for energy efficiency.

Energy Analysis & Optimization

Conduct energy performance assessments of HVAC systems including chillers, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, and ventilation units.

Identify energy-saving opportunities (ECMs), evaluate ROI/payback, and prepare energy optimization proposals.

Monitor and analyze energy consumption trends and specific energy indices.

Site Measurements & Data Collection

Perform field measurements such as airflow, temperature, humidity, chiller performance, pump parameters, and electrical load using appropriate instruments.

Conduct site assessments, verify installed equipment capacity, and cross-check with design requirements.

Ensure accurate data logging for energy audits and performance studies.

Technical Reporting & Documentation

Prepare detailed technical reports including observations, findings, recommendations, and supporting calculations.

Draft feasibility studies, as-built documents, SLDs, and compliance documentation.

Maintain structured records of daily site activities and measurement results.

Project Coordination

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for design validation, installation review, and rectification works.

Support procurement by preparing technical specifications and evaluating technical offers.

Assist in commissioning and performance testing of HVAC systems

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Energy Engineering, Energy Management, and optimizing energy systems
  • Strong Analytical Skills to assess and improve energy performance
  • Background in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on HVAC systems
  • Understanding of sustainable energy practices and industry standards
  • Strong problem-solving and technical skills with the ability to collaborate within a team
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations related to energy efficiency
  • Bachelor's degree in Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in projects related to energy optimization, particularly in the HVAC domain, is a plus
