Role Description & Specializations

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor - English (Under Graduate Programs)

Paschim Vihar, New Delhi Adjacent to Paschim Vihar East Metro Station)

The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses, developing course materials, mentoring students, conducting research, and participating in academic activities like seminars and workshops. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the continuous improvement of the English curriculum and supporting the overall mission of the institute.

What we're looking for?

  • Master's Degree in English (with at least 60% marks or equivalent).
  • Ph.D. in English (preferred but not mandatory as per current regulations).
  • NET/SET qualification (as per UGC norms).
  • Teach undergraduate courses in English Literature, Language, and Communication.
  • Develop syllabus, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluate student performance, and maintain academic records.
  • Guide students in academic and co-curricular activities.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, academic events, and research activities.
  • Excellent communication, passion for teaching, classroom management & mentoring
