Job Description

A reputed CBSE school in Kengeri, Bengaluru is looking for an experienced TGT Social Studies Teacher to join immediately. The ideal candidate should be well-versed with the CBSE curriculum and passionate about teaching students in the middle and high school grades.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Social Studies (History, Geography, Civics, Economics) as per the CBSE curriculum.
  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and activity-based learning modules.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain discipline and foster a positive and engaging classroom environment.
  • Support students through academic guidance and mentoring.
  • Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and school events.
  • Maintain accurate student records and ensure timely communication with parents.

Requirements

  • Qualification: MA + BEd (Mandatory)
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of teaching experience as a Social Studies teacher in a CBSE school.
  • Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
