Manager - IT

Role & responsibilities:

• Overseeing all IT-related aspects of a project, including planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems
• By providing IT support for maintenance activities, including predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and spare parts management.
• Develop and manage IT project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource
• Oversee the installation and configuration of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks
• Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive data and systems from cyber threats.
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of IT solutions and services.
• Develop and manage IT budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure that all IT systems and processes comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Identify potential risks associated with IT systems and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures.
• By implementing and managing IT systems that support various plant processes, such as data acquisition, control systems, and communication networks.
• By implementing robust cybersecurity measures and disaster recovery plans to protect against cyber threats and system failures.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and various software applications.

• Proven ability to manage IT projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, and closure

• IT system pertaining to Power Plant Applications

• Ability to analyze complex IT issues and develop effective solutions.
