A high performing and influential individual contributor who leads by example while continuing to mentor junior engineers, interfaces consistently with tech leadership in the local organization, leads complex and vaguely-defined projects, and stretches into team leadership skills based on current projects.

Worked in at least multiple long term multi-quarter projects.


• Worked in decentralized teams and projects.


• Formally mentored at least 3 individuals.


• Drove technical design end-to-end of at least 3 projects.


• Contributed to engineering community through a blog post, open-source contribution, tech talks, etc.


• Has taken action on customer feedback Has displayed the ability to independently drive product and tech initiatives Functional/ Technical Skills Has strength in multiple technologies or languages. (Being able to look at and maintain code for Android/iOS/web)


• Identifies strengths and weaknesses among languages for particular use cases Justifies technology choices to technical and non-technical observers.


• Serves as an expert for a given domain.


• Makes well defined technology choices.


• Mentor's other engineers (Individual Contributor I, II, III).


• Promote best in class mobile practices within the organization. (ui/ux, operation excellence, backwards compatibility, native platform centric features)


• Creates team project systems.


• Guides integrations across teams within business unit.


• Understands highly complex systems and design moderately complex mobile systems.


• Identifies and advocates for project quality via testing, monitoring and alerting at the multi-project level.


• Has a strong understanding of testing and monitoring tools and technologies.


• Establishes code quality excellence at the team level by using tools like linter and code coverage Guides others in design of software that is easily testable and understandable Add metrics, analyze and and optimize performance of code.


• Effectively resolves incidents in collaboration with other teams Has a strong understanding of how team goals fit a business need. Identifies business problems at the team level and provide solutions.


• Establishes mobile product thinking and provide technical leadership within the team Understands the product needs and translates into engineering clarity and direction.
