Role Overview

Aeden Fruits International Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to handle core accounting operations, support audit preparations, and ensure compliance for both the India HQ and Dubai branch. This role combines everyday accounting rigor with a proactive approach to internal controls and compliance, supporting smooth statutory audits and regulatory filing.

Key Responsibilities

Core Accounting Operations

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities: bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations for both the India office and Dubai branch.
  • Ensure timely posting and settlement of customer/vendor invoices, payments, and receipts across locations.
  • Oversee payroll accounting, expense reports, and monthly closings.
  • Support inventory accounting by coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams.

Audit Coordination & Compliance

  • Prepare schedules, documentation, and reports for internal and external audit processes.
  • Provide necessary data and clarification to auditors (statutory, internal) for smooth audit completion.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records for all reporting periods.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (ICAI, IFRS/IAS), GST, TDS, and UAE VAT requirements.

Dubai Branch Accounts Management

  • Supervise the daily accounts of the Dubai branch: sales/purchase entries, bank reconciliations, and vendor payments.
  • Ensure correct application of UAE VAT and support filings in coordination with local consultants.
  • Prepare branch-wise financial statements and periodic MIS reports for HO review.

Statutory Filings & Regulatory Reporting

  • Assist with statutory filings for GST, TDS (India), and VAT (Dubai).
  • Ensure timely payment of taxes and submission of required returns for both Indian and Dubai operations.
  • Track regulatory changes and share updates with relevant teams.

Process Improvements & Documentation

  • Identify gaps in current accounting processes; support automation and efficiency initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for accounting systems, processes, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Commerce, Finance, or Accountancy (B.Com, M.Com, MBA).
  • 2+ years experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to multi-location or international operations.
  • Hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting, statutory compliance, and audit preparation.
  • Familiarity with Indian GST, TDS, and UAE VAT.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software (Tally, SAP, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability.
  • Good communication skills for coordination across teams and with auditors.
