Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally Prime, ensuring timely data entry and reconciliation.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ledgers, and reports.
  • Handle GST filings, e-Way Bill generation, and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and inter-company reconciliations.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Tally Prime with high speed and accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and e-Way Bill procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
