Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in the designated Delhi territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing and motivating a high-performing sales team, and achieving revenue targets. You will play a crucial role in building strong relationships with clients and distributors, ensuring brand visibility, and driving market growth while adhering to all industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned area.
- Team Leadership & Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales professionals. Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching to maximize team potential.
- Client & Distributor Relations: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers to ensure optimal product distribution and satisfaction.
- Market Growth & Brand Visibility: Implement marketing plans to secure prominent brand visibility, increase market share, and ensure optimal product placement.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Regularly monitor sales performance against targets, analyze market trends and competitor activities, and provide detailed reports to senior management.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all sales activities and operations strictly comply with the local and national regulations governing the liquor industry.
- Inventory & Financial Management: Oversee inventory levels with distributors and manage budgets and expenses for the sales area.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven work experience as an Area Sales Manager, preferably within the liquor, Alco-Bev, or FMCG industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team.
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to analyze sales data, understand market trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Local Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the Delhi market and its specific regulatory environment is highly desirable.
- Results-Oriented: A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹60, ₹70,000.00 per year
