Purchase Executive-Vendor Management
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely supply and favorable terms.
Negotiate cost, quality, and delivery schedules effectively.
Procurement Operations
Ensure timely procurement of required materials, equipment, and services.
Follow company's purchase policies, approval systems, and compliance requirements.
Reduce procurement lead times through efficient planning.
Cost Optimization & Budget Control
Achieve cost savings through vendor negotiation and alternate sourcing.
Monitor purchase budgets and ensure purchases remain within approved limits.
Track market trends and suggest cost-effective substitutes.
Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
Collaborate with store/warehouse teams to monitor stock levels.
Avoid overstocking or stockouts by maintaining optimal reorder levels.
Coordinate with logistics/transport for smooth delivery of materials.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate purchase records, contracts, and vendor agreements.
Ensure GST, taxation, and legal compliance in procurement activities.
Prepare regular MIS reports on purchases and vendor performance.
Quality Assurance
Ensure materials meet required specifications and quality standards.
Liaise with QA/technical teams for material inspection and approvals.
Manage supplier audits and performance evaluations.
Performance & Reporting
Achieve defined procurement cost-reduction targets.
Timely reporting of procurement status to management.
Contribute to continuous improvement in procurement processes.
