Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Junior Accountant with 2 years of experience to join our growing team. As a Junior Accountant, you will support the accounting department in various tasks, including financial record-keeping, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting. You will work closely with senior accountants and managers to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist in maintaining accurate general ledgers.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Prepare and record journal entries for various financial activities.
  • Help with the preparation of tax filings and compliance-related documentation.
  • Support in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Assist in internal and external audits.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial files and records.
  • Provide general accounting support to senior team members.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
  • Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with tax preparation and financial audits.
