The Contract Engineer will be responsible for reviewing, preparing, and managing all contract-related activities for real estate and construction projects. This role ensures compliance with legal, technical, and commercial requirements while optimizing project cost and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze vendor/contractor documents, BOQs, drawings, and contract clauses.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and manage contracts, work orders, and subcontract agreements.
  • Monitor and control project costs, variations, and billing (including RA bills and final bills).
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors for approvals, clarifications, and compliance.
  • Ensure that all legal, commercial, and technical terms are adhered to during execution.
  • Handle claims, time extensions, disputes, and settlement of contractual issues.
  • Support project closure activities including final bill verification, retention release, and as-built documentation.
