Job Description

We are looking for experienced and skilled VMC Operators / CNC Milling Machine Operators for our growing aerospace manufacturing unit. This is a critical role for precision machining of aerospace components. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both operating and setting VMC or CNC Milling machines.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set up VMC (Vertical Machining Center) or CNC Milling Machines
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions
• Select and load appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials
• Conduct machine setup and calibration as per specifications
• Monitor machine operations to ensure precision and quality
• Perform in-process inspection using measuring tools (Vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Handle minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
• Record production logs and inspection reports
• Collaborate with quality control and production teams to meet daily targets

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating and setting VMC or CNC Milling Machines
• Must have experience in precision component machining
• Knowledge of tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters
• Ability to read engineering drawings and G&M codes
• Familiar with basic quality inspection tools and procedures
• Good understanding of machine maintenance and safety standards
• Prior experience in aerospace component machining is a plus

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Fitter / Machinist or relevant trade
• Candidates with experience in aerospace or precision engineering will be preferred
• Immediate Joiners highly preferred (notice period must not exceed 15 days)
