Job Description in Brief: We are looking for a Shopify Developer with 2+ years of experience who is proficient in Shopify platform development, customization, and app integrations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and developing responsive e-commerce websites and web applications using Shopify. The candidate will be involved in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and analysis to deployment and support. They should be able to work collaboratively in a team or independently on projects.

Technical Key skills:

· Proficient in Shopify theme development using Liquid, app development, and API integrations (REST/GraphQL).

· Skilled in jQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for responsive interfaces.

· Hands-on experience with PHP, MySQL, and Shopify's back-end architecture.

· High proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration.

· Familiar with project management tools like Jira, Trello, and Basecamp.

· Knowledge of WordPress, SEO, and database management (SQL Server/MySQL) is a plus.

Desired Competencies for Shopify Developer:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Shopify development, including theme customization and app integrations.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap, and APIs.
• Strong understanding of Shopify's back-end, database management, and Liquid.
• Experience with Git for version control and project collaboration.
• Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, optimization, and scaling Shopify stores.
• Familiar with CMS platforms like WordPress and other open-source systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and object-oriented programming knowledge.
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork and client interaction.
• Technically strong with a passion for learning and improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities for Shopify Developer:

• Develop and customize Shopify websites and e-commerce applications using Liquid and other Shopify tools.
• Monitor, manage, and maintain the server environments for Shopify applications, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend Shopify functionalities.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Actively participate in quality assurance activities, including design and code reviews, unit testing, and defect resolution.
• Diagnose and resolve performance or server-related issues impacting Shopify applications, including analyzing logs and troubleshooting downtime.
• Manage development projects independently from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Provide administrative support, tools, and documentation for development projects.
• Design scalable and high-performance applications and database structures for Shopify.
• Deliver accurate project estimates, feedback, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Implement efficient and scalable back-end components for Shopify stores.
• Contribute to the improvement of development processes and tools within the team.
• Lead in software design, architecture, and investigate new technologies for Shopify development.
• Collaborate with team members to solve problems and improve overall project outcomes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹40,000.00 per month
