As a Frontend Engineer

You'll craft the interfaces that make AI sales magic accessible to everyone. You'll work directly with our CEO and core team from Japan while building for global markets, experiencing AI-driven development with rapid iteration from concept to release. This is your opportunity to shape how businesses interact with next-generation AI sales technology in an international work environment that welcomes both Japanese and non-Japanese speakers.

Your Typical Day With Us

• Build beautiful, intuitive interfaces that turn complex AI configuration into delightful user experiences
• Craft the embeddable widget that brings AI sales agents to life on client websites
• Create seamless onboarding flows that get SMB owners from URL to live AI agent in minutes
• Design and implement the dashboard where businesses manage their AI sales agent and track performance
• Optimize performance to ensure lightning-fast widget loading and smooth conversational experiences
• Collaborate closely with our part-time designer to implement pixel-perfect, responsive designs
• Work with backend engineers to create APIs that serve exceptional user experiences
• Build features that directly impact how businesses sell and connect with their customers

• Contribute to frontend best practices and help establish our coding standards

What You'll Need

• 4+ years building production web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks
• 2+ years of solid React experience with TypeScript in production environments
• Good understanding of modern JavaScript build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel) and ES6+
• Strong modern CSS and Tailwind CSS skills with attention to UI/UX detail and responsive design principles
• Experience optimizing web applications for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Design skills and proficiency with Figma, with passion for product design and user experience
• Experience with state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Context API, or similar)
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate frontend with backend services
• Track record of shipping features that improved user experience or conversion metrics
• Experience with Svelte and modern component frameworks
• Experience with SOLID.JS
• Experience with Remix
• Experience with Tailwind

Technical Environment

• Frontend: React with TypeScript
• Styling: Tailwind CSS and modern CSS with component libraries
• Build Tools: Vite with modern development tooling
• State Management: Modern React patterns and state libraries
• Integrations: APIs for Shopify, BigCommerce, and business platforms
• Design: Figma collaboration and self-directed design work
• Testing: Vitest/Jest/React testing library
• Deployment: Automated CI/CD with preview deployments

Preferred Experience

• Background with e-commerce platforms or business management tools
• Knowledge of conversational UI patterns and real-time applications
• Understanding of web performance optimization and core web vitals
• Experience with design systems and component development
• Familiarity with A/B testing and user experience optimization
• Startup experience with rapid product iteration
• Experience working closely with designers in a collaborative environment
