Key Responsibilities

  • Lead quality engineering across API-first, cloud-based integration projects.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps engineers to design and execute robust automated test suites.
  • Rapidly familiarise yourself with existing codebases, frameworks, and patterns, and apply them to new initiatives.
  • Use AI-driven test generation tools and prompt engineering to enhance test design efficiency.
  • Provide hands-on leadership in testing microservices, message queues, and event-driven architectures.
  • Ensure alignment with best practices for CI/CD, scalability, and reliability across all test phases.

Required Skills & ExperienceCore Technical Skills

  • Java: Advanced proficiency in Java-based test automation.
  • API Testing: Hands-on experience using RestAssured or equivalent frameworks.
  • Cloud Integration (Azure): Experience with:
  • Azure Blob Storage
  • Azure Event Hubs / Kafka
  • Azure App Insights
  • Azure Functions and related libraries
  • Messaging & Queues: Kafka, Azure Service Bus, or similar.
  • Microservices Testing: Strong understanding of distributed system testing.
  • DevOps Awareness: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment models.

Automation & Tools

  • Java-based automation frameworks.
  • API contract testing experience.
  • Performance testing exposure (nice to have).

AI-Assisted Testing

  • Prompt engineering for automated test case generation.
  • Understanding of LLM-based test augmentation tools/workflows.

Soft Skills & Leadership

  • Ability to lead and mentor a small QE team.
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; technology-agnostic mindset.
  • Excellent English communication.
  • Self-driven, proactive, able to work independently in distributed teams.

Experience

  • 8+ years in Quality Engineering.
  • 3+ years in a senior/lead QE role.
  • Proven experience delivering testing within large-scale enterprise integration environments.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹800, ₹2,000,000.00 per year
