Position: Quality Control Intern

Location: Uppal, Telangana

Timing: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Working Day: Mon - Sat

Roles & Responsibilities

Production Support

  • Assist in day-to-day food repacking operations (weighing, sealing, labeling, packaging).
  • Learn and apply inventory control practices (FIFO/FEFO, stock rotation, warehouse hygiene).
  • Monitor and record production data such as output, wastage, and downtime.
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), hygiene, and safety guidelines.
  • Support supervisors in material handling, line clearance, and shift-wise documentation.

Quality Assurance & Control

  • Conduct basic quality checks on repacked products (weight, seal integrity, labeling accuracy, visual inspection).
  • Assist in sample collection and preparation for lab testing.
  • Monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) on the shop floor.
  • Maintain and update quality records including inspection reports and batch documents.
  • Report deviations or non-conformances to the Quality team for corrective action.

Dispatch & Logistics

  • Assist in checking finished goods against dispatch schedules and customer orders.
  • Support in palletizing, labeling, and supervising loading activities.
  • Maintain dispatch records, including product quantities, batch numbers, and delivery details.
  • Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to ensure only approved stock is dispatched.
  • Learn and apply inventory control practices (FIFO/FEFO, stock rotation, warehouse hygiene).

Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of basic food safety standards (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel/Word for reporting).
