We are looking for a skilled Azure AI & Microsoft Fabric Engineer to design, implement, and optimize AI-driven analytics solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Azure AI services. This role combines expertise in data engineering, AI integration, and business intelligence to deliver end-to-end analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement AI/GenAI-ready cloud architectures to support machine learning and large language models.
  • Integrate AI services (Azure AI Foundry, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, CoPilot) into cloud solutions for advanced analytics and automation.
  • Ensure cloud infrastructure can handle high-performance computing for AI workloads, including GPU/TPU clusters.
  • Collaborate with data teams to optimize AI pipelines and model deployment in cloud environments.
  • Ensure AI solutions meet security, compliance, and governance requirements.
  • Collaborate with product, development and operations teams to optimize AI deployments.
  • Build and support CICD & DevOps integrations for AI & Data solutions partnering with DevOps team.
  • Build AIOps integration to monitor cloud infrastructure performance and implement cost optimization strategies.
  • Stay updated on emerging AI and Data technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Architect and deploy Microsoft Fabric solutions including OneLake, Lakehouse, and Data Warehousing.
  • Integrate Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning) into analytics workflows.
  • Build and manage data pipelines using Databricks, Data Factory, Fabric Dataflows, and Synapse.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and advanced analytics reports.
  • Implement data governance and compliance using Microsoft Purview.
  • Optimize performance and scalability of Fabric workloads.
  • Automate workflows using Fabric APIs, Azure Functions, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and business teams to deliver actionable insights.
  • Experience in major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and cloud security.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with AI/ML services on major cloud platforms (Azure AI, AWS AI, Google AI).
  • Knowledge of GenAI concepts and ability to design infrastructure for large language models (LLMs).
  • Familiarity with AI workload optimization, GPU provisioning, and distributed training in cloud environments.
  • Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI principles, and compliance requirements.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field required.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure AI services.
  • Expertise with Azure Databricks and Notebooks.
  • Strong knowledge of data engineering, ETL, and Lakehouse architecture.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and semantic modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, and OpenAI integration.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, SQL, and Spark for data processing.
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • 5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure and solution.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure AI Engineer Associate is a preference.
  • Experience with Fabric APIs, custom connectors, and advanced analytics.
  • Knowledge of MLOps and AI lifecycle management.
  • Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect is an added advantage.
  • Experience with multi-cloud strategies and hybrid environments.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML and GenAI services for advanced cloud solutions.
  • Candidate should be flexible to accommodate CST overlap hours whenever necessary for collaboration with business teams as well as cross functional IT teams.
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing technologies and environments.
