We are looking for a motivated
GIS Executive
with
1–2 years of professional experience

Land Use/Land Cover (LULC) mapping and analysis
. The ideal candidate will possess a solid working knowledge of
GIS
and remote sensing tools. This role involves
satellite image interpretation
, data digitization, and spatial analysis, all with a strong emphasis on accuracy and detail.
As a key member of our
geospatial team
, you will contribute to environmental, planning, and infrastructure-related projects by producing high-quality spatial datasets and analyses that support critical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform
LULC mapping
, classification, and spatial analysis using remote sensing and GIS software. - Interpret satellite imagery and digitize land cover features with high accuracy.
- Process, analyze, and manage
large-scale geospatial datasets
. - Create and maintain
maps, spatial databases
, and data layers. - Conduct
quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC)
checks on GIS outputs. - Support project teams with data visualization, map preparation, and technical reporting.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure GIS data integrates with broader project needs.
- Stay current with
advancements in GIS and remote sensing
, especially in LULC applications.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in
Geoinformatics, Geography, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering
, or a related discipline. - 1–2 years of hands-on experience
in GIS, with demonstrable work on LULC projects.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in
GIS
and remote sensing software. - Solid understanding of:
- Satellite image classification
- Raster and vector data processing
- Coordinate systems and map projections
- Geodatabase design and spatial data management
- Familiarity with
Python
,
ModelBuilder
, or
SQL
for process automation (preferred but not mandatory). - Knowledge of
AutoCAD
is an added advantage.
