What you'll do:

We are seekinga highly skilledand experienced BusinessIntelligence leader within our organization.

The ideal candidatewill have a strong background in financial services, credit bureaus, banking,or fintech, with proven expertise in analytics, reporting, and regulatory data compliance

Decision-making across risk, credit,compliance, customer analytics, fraud detection, and product performance.

Key responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a Data Analytics team. Identify skillgaps and executeon training and development plans to grow the team's analytical and technical skills.

Data Analysis & Insights:

• Using our analytics products and BI tools to provide actionable insights for business strategies, partner management and process improvements across teams.
• Develop, maintain, and improve existing products, dashboards and reports using tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.

Data Visualization &Reporting:

• Design clear, effective and interactive data visualisations that communicate insights to various stakeholders, from frontline staff to senior leadership.
• Ensure reports and dashboards are user-friendly, timely, and aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Strong understanding of data warehouses and how to work with big data Work with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi, dbt, Airflow) to ensure robust data pipelines.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

• Act as a liaison with all otherbusiness units, understanding their data needs and translating them into technical requirements. Support strategic and ad hoc data needs from executive, regulatory and product management stakeholders.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior management, driving data-driven decisions across all business verticals.

Process Improvement & Automation:

• Drive automation of routine reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Continuously assess and improve BI reports, processes, tools, and technologies to support evolving business needs.

Data Governance:

• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by establishing and maintaining data quality standards and governance practices.
• Maintain compliance with internal and external data privacy regulations. Interface with auditors and compliance teams as necessary.

Detailed KPI Management:

• Ensure a 90% Data AccuracyRate by performing regular data audits and tracking correction incidents.
• Achieve an 80% User AdoptionRate by monitoring logins and activity levels within products and dashboards.
• Drive cost savingsthrough BI initiatives by comparing costs before and after BI implementation in targeted areas.

What you'll need?

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in BI, data architecture, or analytics, including 3+ years in a lead or architect role.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau,Looker) and SQL-based querying.
• Deep understanding of financial domain data: transactions, credit scoring, KYC, fraud, lending, payments, etc. Experience in regulatory reporting and working with sensitive financial and PII data. Experience working with data from creditbureaus (e.g., Experian,Equifax, TransUnion, CRIF) would be preferred.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with machinelearning applications in BI or Data Sciencewould be preferred.
• Certifications in BI or cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Data Analyst Associate, AWS Certified Data Analytics, etc.).
