Job Title: Hybris Frontend Developer (Consultant)

About the Role:

As a Hybris Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing frontend solutions within the SAP Commerce (Hybris) ecosystem. This role involves working on JSP-based storefronts as well as optionally incorporating modern frontend frameworks like ReactJS to enhance the user experience. You will also work with Hybris Backoffice and HAC (Admin Console) frontend technologies, supporting both business user and admin interfaces. Collaboration with backend teams and stakeholders is key to delivering scalable, performant, and customer-centric commerce solutions.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience developing frontend solutions for SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) using JSP-based storefront technologies.
• Experience working with Hybris Backoffice UI using AngularJS (1.x), and CSS to build and customize modern Single Page Applications (SPA) for business users.
• Proficiency with HAC (Hybris Admin Console) development using JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript for developer and admin web consoles.
• Ability to customize and extend JSP templates and web components within SAP Commerce storefronts.
• Experience with ReactJS as an optional skill to build or enhance frontend components.
• Understanding of REST API integration with backend services.
• Knowledge of Progressive Web Applications (PWA) and mobile-first development is desirable.
• Familiarity with Headless Commerce and Composable Commerce architectures is a plus.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Good to Have:

• Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud modules such as Personalisation, Order Management, Marketing, etc.
• Exposure to the Spartacus storefront and Angular development.
• Experience integrating third-party systems.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into frontend Hybris solutions.
• Design, develop, customise, and maintain JSP-based storefront components and templates within SAP Commerce Cloud.
• Develop and customise Hybris Backoffice SPA UI using AngularJS (1.x), Dojo, and CSS to support business users.
• Work on HAC (Admin Console) frontend enhancements using JSP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Optionally develop ReactJS components to improve frontend user experience.
• Ensure frontend solutions are optimised for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Integrate frontend with SAP Commerce backend and third-party systems via APIs.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and developers to deliver projects on time and with high quality.
• Provide support and knowledge transfer to clients on frontend implementations within SAP Commerce.
• Stay current with new frontend technologies and SAP Commerce developments.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or information technology.

Hybris Frontend Developer (Senior Consultant)

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end SAP Commerce (Hybris) frontend implementations, ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered on time and within scope.
• Work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand their business challenges and define technical solutions for Hybris storefronts, Backoffice, and admin consoles.
• Architect and design scalable, high-performance frontend systems using JSP, AngularJS (1.x), Dojo, and optionally ReactJS within the SAP Commerce ecosystem.
• Provide hands-on guidance in the customization and optimization of Hybris JSP storefronts, Backoffice SPA, and HAC (Admin Console) UIs to meet client-specific requirements.
• Manage complex integrations between SAP Commerce backend, frontend layers, third-party applications, and external systems.
• Mentor and train junior consultants and developers on best practices in frontend development for SAP Commerce (Hybris), including JSP, AngularJS, and ReactJS.
• Lead or participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to quality standards, security protocols, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, solution architects, and technical leads to drive overall solution strategy and frontend architecture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during and after implementation, ensuring smooth operation of frontend components.
• Share expertise in Hybris frontend development, including JSP storefronts, Backoffice, HAC, and composable architectures, with internal teams and clients.

Education & Certifications:
