Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design, deployment, configuration, administration, and support of applications and middleware on IBM PureApplication System platforms. This role involves leveraging PureApplication's "Patterns of Expertise" to automate deployments, manage cloud resources, and ensure the optimal performance and availability of critical business applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with IBM PureApplication System (or similar "Expert Integrated Systems" / cloud appliances).
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, IBM PowerVM).
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
  • Familiarity with storage concepts (SAN, NAS, DAS, RAID).
  • Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Jython) for automation and system management.
  • Experience with middleware administration (e.g., IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM Db2, Apache, Tomcat).
  • Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery concepts.
  • Problem determination and troubleshooting skills.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹1,800, ₹2,500,000.00 per year
