SUMMARY:

Pehchaan The Street School is seeking a creative and driven individual to join our team as a Social Media Intern. As a Social Media Intern, you will play a crucial role in expanding our organization's online presence and engaging with our community through various social media platforms. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management while making a positive impact through your digital contribution.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Experience in creating content for social media,including writing engaging captions and selecting compelling visuals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in managing and updating our organization's social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Create engaging and compelling content, such as posts, images, and videos, to promote our organization's mission and programs.
  • Monitor social media channels for mentions,comments, and messages, and respond in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop social media campaigns and strategies to raise awareness, drive engagement, and increase followers.
  • Conduct research to identify trends and best practices in social media marketing for nonprofits.
