Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Billing Executive to manage the organization's day-to-day billing operations. The role involves generating accurate invoices, ensuring timely collections, maintaining financial records, and supporting the accounts receivable function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and issue sales invoices, debit/credit notes, and tax invoices as per company policy.

  • Maintain and update customer billing records in ERP/accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Zoho Books).

  • Ensure proper documentation of purchase orders (POs) and delivery challans for invoice processing.

  • Handle GST and TDS compliance while preparing invoices.

  • Coordinate with internal departments (sales, dispatch, logistics) for accurate and timely billing.

  • Process e-way bills and e-invoices as per statutory requirements.

  • Monitor accounts receivable, follow up for outstanding payments, and generate ageing reports.

  • Reconcile client accounts, track receipts, and resolve any billing discrepancies.

  • Maintain digital and physical billing files for audits and internal checks.

  • Prepare and submit regular billing and collection reports to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (e.g., B.Com, BBA).

  • 1–3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or finance operations.

  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Zoho, Busy).

  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.

  • Good communication and organizational skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with e-invoicing and e-way bill generation (India-specific).

  • Exposure to billing in industries like manufacturing, logistics, or retail.

  • Ability to generate and analyze billing reports and account summaries.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based role with standard working hours.

  • Occasional extended hours during billing deadlines or month-end closures.
