React Native

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Full-Stack Mobile Developer with strong experience in React Native to lead the conversion and development of our existing web applications into high-performance, enterprise-grade mobile apps for both iOS and Android.

. You will be responsible for the entire mobile application lifecycle, from architecture and design to deployment and maintenance.

Role & responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and responsive mobile applications for iOS and Android using the React Native framework.
• Web App Conversion: Take primary ownership of migrating functionality, UI/UX, and business logic from our existing web applications to a mobile-first architecture.
• Full-Stack Integration: Collaborate with backend teams to design, consume, and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services. You will be expected to build and manage parts of the "middleware" or "Backend-for-Frontend" (BFF) that serves the mobile app.
• Database Management: Implement and manage robust client-side databases (e.g., SQLite, Realm) and data synchronization strategies for seamless offline-first functionality.
• Native Module Integration: Write and maintain native (Java/Kotlin for Android, Swift/Objective-C for iOS) modules and bridges when React Native's core components are insufficient for performance or specific platform features.
• Implement native modules and bridge code when needed (Kotlin/Java for Android, Swift/Obj-C for iOS).
• Implement push notifications (FCM + APNs), deep links, background tasks, and platform-specific features (camera, geolocation, sensors).
• Ensure performance and battery efficiencyprofile and fix bottlenecks, memory leaks, and startup times.
• Performance & Quality: Diagnose and fix bugs, optimize application performance, and ensure code quality and maintainability through automated testing (Jest, Detox).
• Deployment: Manage the full application deployment lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Fastlane, Bitrise) and publishing to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: 3-5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2-3 years focused on React Native.
• React Native: Proven expertise in React Native, including component-based architecture, state management (e.g., Redux, MobX, Zustand), and navigation.
• Full-Stack Mindset: Demonstrable experience working with backend technologies (e.g., , Python, Java) and developing/consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience building/maintaining native modules and interoperating with Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Obj-C).
• Experience with authentication flows (OAuth2, JWT, session handling) and secure storage of credentials.
• Database Expertise: Strong understanding of both server-side databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and mobile-side databases (e.g., SQLite, WatermelonDB, Realm).
• Native Experience: Familiarity with the core Android and iOS ecosystems. Specific experience in Android development (Kotlin/Java) is highly valued.
• DevOps: Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Problem Solver: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for building high-quality user experiences. Good debugging skills: using Android Studio, Xcode, Android / iOS emulators, and profiling tools.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience specifically migrating a large web application (e.g., React, Angular) to React Native.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of mobile-specific security best practices.
