Role Overview:

We are looking for a Mathematics Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the development of curriculum-aligned educational content for students. The SME will ensure accuracy, clarity, and pedagogical effectiveness of all mathematical content produced.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, verify, and create mathematics content for textbooks, workbooks, worksheets, and digital learning platforms.
  • Develop solutions, answer keys, and explanations for exercises and assessments.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the prescribed curriculum (CBSE, ICSE, or other as specified).
  • Collaborate with content writers, editors, and instructional designers to enhance learning materials.
  • Provide insights on pedagogical strategies, problem-solving approaches, and difficulty levels appropriate for students.
  • Suggest improvements to existing content for accuracy, clarity, and student engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong expertise in mathematics for [K–12].
  • Minimum [3 to 5 years] of experience in teaching, curriculum design, or educational content development.
  • Familiarity with CBSE, ICSE, or other relevant educational standards.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in digital content creation or e-learning platforms.
  • Previous work as a freelance content expert or curriculum consultant.
  • Familiarity with assessment design and question bank creation.

Compensation:

  • Competitive freelance rates per project/hour based on experience.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
