On-Camera Responsibilities

  • Anchor daily/weekly tech and business news segments for video and digital platforms.
  • Host exclusive interviews, podcasts, and panel discussions with founders, investors, and industry leaders.
  • Present news and insights with clarity, confidence, and journalistic credibility.
  • Ensure on-camera delivery is professional, engaging, and aligned with the Deccan Founders brand style.

Content Moderation & Management

  • Review, filter, and ensure content aligns with editorial standards, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to refine scripts, headlines, and story angles.
  • Fact-check information before presenting or moderating content.

Research & Knowledge

  • Stay updated with the startup ecosystem, venture capital trends, technology advancements, and business markets.
  • Research upcoming guests, events, and topics for informed moderation.
  • Provide editorial inputs on trending stories and exclusive coverage opportunities.

Requirements

  • Excellent on-camera presence with strong English communication and articulation skills.
  • Knowledge of the startup ecosystem, business markets, venture capital trends and emerging technologies.
  • Prior experience in anchoring, content moderation, journalism, or media hosting is a plus.
  • Strong research, script-writing, and storytelling abilities.
  • Confident, adaptable, and able to manage live/on-air discussions.
