Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with founders, engineers, and creatives to translate Catalyx's engineering and missions into powerful visual stories.
- Create cinematic launch films and documentaries — 30–120-second hero videos and longer narrative pieces that showcase product launches, tests, and the company's journey.
- Own the entire filmmaking process end-to-end: concept, pre-production, shooting, directing, editing, colour grading, and final delivery.
- Produce diverse creative content — founder-led stories, documentaries, explainers, team culture pieces, and behind-the-scenes films that bring Catalyx's vision to life.
- Plan and execute high-impact shoots: design micro-storyboards, handle solo or lean-crew filming, manage lighting, stabilisation, and cinematography for cinematic output.
- Design and mix sound creatively: handle foley, risers, ambient layers, music sync/licensing, and overall sound balance.
- Craft motion graphics and typography: apply motion tracking, kinetic type, and UI overlays with a strong sense of layout, rhythm, and visual identity.
- Adapt and repurpose assets across formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) for multiple platforms, maintaining consistent visual quality and brand tone.
- Maintain content cadence: deliver one major cinematic film every 1–2 weeks plus 2–3 short-form founder-led or social reels per week.
- Work fluently across creative tools — Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects — using efficient, version-controlled workflows.
