Key responsibilities will also include:

  • Design and specification of all electrical building services engineering design
  • Contributing to Technical reports, writing about all electrical engineering systems, either as part of an independent report or a multi-disciplinary report.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of US standards.
  • Work competently on an independent basis, as well as collaborating within the design team and leading the project team.
  • Planning and managing CAD for production of design work how a keen willingness to engage and participate within the groups strategy for BIM development as our tool of choices for all design related issues.

Experience:

  • Typically, over 3 years experience of Electrical building services engineering.
  • Experience in general electrical design softwares such as Amtech and Dialux; experience in Revit is desirable.
  • Experience of US projects would be advantageous.
  • A relevant degree in engineering, or equivalent qualification, or sufficient suitable experience
  • Associate or student member of an appropriate professional body, such as CIBSE, IET etc.
  • Achieved or working towards Chartered Engineer status
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate in fluent English.
  • Computer literate including working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
